LOGOGRAMME ...
En préparation de ma dernière expo dont le thème était le secret, après les idéogrammes Japonais la réalisation de logogramme m’a semblé être une bonne idée. L’écriture Maya est sans doute l’un des systèmes d’écriture le plus frappant visuellement et également très complexe. Longtemps resté incompréhensible et donc secret avec ses êtres humains particuliers, ses animaux ou êtres surnaturels les mayas pouvaient écrire tous ce qu’ils voulaient sans que l’on puisse vraiment les comprendre. Et je dois dire que leur réalisation est à la hauteur de la difficulté à le lire…
In preparation of my last exhibition whose theme was “the secret”, after the realization of the Japanese ideograms, doing some logogram seemed like a good idea. The Maya writing is probably one of the writing systems which are most visually striking and also very complex. Stay incomprehensible for long time and therefore secret with their particular human beings, strange animals or supernatural beings, the Mayans people could write what they wanted to say without all that one could really understand them. And I must say that drawing them is equal to the difficulty to read...!
